The Emily Franz Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. awards scholarships to the graduates of Shullsburg High School. Members of the current senior class with plans to attend a college of post secondary education of at least one year are eligible to apply.

In awarding scholarships, the Selection Committee shall take a broad view of each applicant. The student as a whole person shall be considered. Each item on the application will be considered with no particular emphasis on any one item. 

Receipt of this Scholarship could affect the amount of financial aid money you will receive from your school. 

If you are a recipient of one of the Emily Franz Memorial Scholarships, you will be notified of a contact person to discuss the method of disbursement of the award. The scholarship must be used in the first 2 academic years following high school graduation. For the Class of 2023, this means that you must request your scholarship prior to your spring semester of the year 2025. Failure to request your award will result in forfeiture.

Due date: Class of 2023 application period has ended.  Class of 2024 will be available sometime in January, 2024 and will likely be due sometime in February, 2024. Applications postmarked after the due date will NOT be considered.
