The Emily Franz Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. has a primary focus of awarding scholarships to Shullsburg High School graduating seniors each year.  The Scholarship Committee has expanded this to consider annual awards to continuing education scholarships to past graduates of Shullsburg High School.  The Committee doesn't guarantee that there will be funds available each year for continuing education scholarships.  This will depend on the availability of funds based on a variety of factors.

As stated, prior graduates of Shullsburg High School may apply as long as they are requesting funds to cover post secondary education expenses and are at a minimum, 2 years past their high school graduation. 

In awarding scholarships, the Selection Committee shall take a broad view of each applicant. The student as a whole person shall be considered. Each item on the application will be considered with no particular emphasis on any one item.   Additional requirements will be posted with the application when funds are available and please review those requirements closely. 

Receipt of this Scholarship could affect the amount of financial aid money you will receive from your school. 

If you are a recipient of one of the Emily Franz Memorial Scholarships, you will be notified of a contact person to discuss the method of disbursement of the award. Failure to request your award in the timeframe specified will result in forfeiture.
